Sonia struggled with addiction later in life, but the drugs were no match for the love of God.
“I was high every day,” Sonia remembers. “People didn’t even know me sober.”
With a son in the custody of her older parents, Sonia soon found herself in jail. Then, her probation officer helped her get into 7 the Springs Ministries’ women’s recovery program.
“You will never feel love like you feel [here] in this house. Each day when I wake up, I know they love me unconditionally.”
